Give me the passion
That flies in the face of convention
Making old men shake their heads
And old women silently envy

A red hot furnace of feeling
Volcanic in nature
Untamed and primitive
No thought for tomorrow

Surging and rushing
Expanding and bending
All consuming and intense

Enveloping inhibitions
Scattering barriers
Breaking new ground

Life rushes on
The pace increasing
With the years endured

No time to waste
Experience is all
Let me devour
The feast of life
Before
The eternal slumber!
