Opening and exposing
Capacity for infinite joy
Beyond limitations of ego

Deep dark thoughts
Hidden and submerged
Threatening to overflow
Confines of respectability

Sacred laying down
Sacrificial holy offerings
Adorn the alter of my mind
Given with reverence

How can anyone
Penetrate the mysterious
Workings of such contradictions
Or storm my battlements?
