Birth Of The Light

Spirit hung in the darkness
Pregnant, waiting
Then at the Master’s command
Embraced the darkness
With a lingering kiss

The beings of the light
Moved to the light
And those of the darkness
To the dark
And all the created universe
Was suffused
With the Spirit of God

Those of the light
Can visit the dark
And bring illumination,

But those of the dark
Cannot visit the light
Or extinguish it

So choose the light
And with it
Your soul’s evolution
So you may be a lamp
To those who live
In the darkness.
And accompany them
Up to the light
