I hold a very special place in my heart for Pluscardin Abbey in North East Scotland. I came here on two occasions for week long retreats when life had all but run me into the ground. I found new strength among the ancient stone walls, the solitude and the beauty of the Benedictine Community of monks who live there in silence.
