The Revelation of our True Being

I saw the beauty of the human soul last night
I experienced bliss almost too painful to endure
For our beings are love entire
Love confounded
Love confused
Love estranged
Love disguised

But love
Pure
Undiluted,
True

I was taken up into my higher being                  
Shown the beauty in our hearts                                  
That thing written about by sages
That thing we hope to believe
Experienced by mystics,
It is true, it is real
We are exquisite
We breathe love
We die love
We embody
Love
Divine

My heart
Is weeping
For the love
That moves
This universe
It is too grand
Too mighty
We think
To inhabit us
But it does!
What joy
Invades
My Soul.
