Spiritual Counselling To Empower Yourself

My spiritual counselling offers a deeper and more spiritual perspective on personal challenges and life direction. I adhere to the belief that everything comes with a lesson attached. Once understood and accepted, this transforms old, worn-out manifestations of similar circumstances. This enables a new freedom, born of self-empowerment, to emerge. Life is a skill we can learn, not a series of random events, and we have the power within us to change at every level.

I do not put myself forth as a "counsellor" in the traditionally accepted sense of the word. My qualifications are not in the area of traditional psychology or psychiatry and I have no desire to sit and allow people to go on and on at great length about their problems over many sessions, pay a large amount of money, and go away unchanged.

No, my passion is to awaken and guide those who are burdened with problems to see the "pearl in their oyster" from a spiritual perspective and will only work with those who are prepared to open up to releasing old attitudes and ways of being that no longer serve them, and who are willing to take steps in finding a new direction and meaning in their life by reconnecting with the richness and true power of their Spirit.  The result is self-empowerment and a joy-filled life!

Spiritual Counselling Or Traditional Counselling - Which one is for you?

• Traditional Counselling (Psychology, Psychiatry)

  Clinical psychology relates to the study, diagnosis and treatment of mental and behavior disorders and is provided in a more traditional medical setting, often working with psychiatrists and other physicians. Their role is the understanding, preventing and relieving of psychologically-based distress or dysfunction and to promote subjective well-being and personal development.
  
  If this is the sort of assistance you are looking for, or if you have problems with mental health or require medication, then I advise you to visit your doctor instead for a referral to a specialist in these fields would be best.  Spiritual Counselling requires that you are of sound mind and are willing and able to work on yourself from an inner level.
  
  
  

• Spiritual Counselling (Holistic Counselling, Spiritual Guidance)

  Spiritual Counselling addresses the feelings, needs of the heart and soul.  It incorporates the spiritual aspect in relation to your problems, and helps you awaken to and connect with your own existing inner strength and wisdom. All answers that we seek lie within us, and we only need to open ourselves up to access it.  Our own inner wisdom is where we can find clarity, peace and a larger perspective - the perspective from your soul's point of view, and this is where we discover our place within the divine purpose.
  
  Spiritual Counselling can help point out where we have been operating from limiting self-belief systems through our attitudes and ingrained emotional patterns, and how these can play out in our lives in the form of dramas.  This is called 'creating unconsciously'. 
  
  Opening up to the awareness of our role in our painful dramas is not about judging ourselves, only acknowledgement and honest acceptance of "what is".  From the spiritual point of view, where we can see (and acknowledge) the areas where we have unconsciously created or co-created situations that have become painful for us, this awareness immediately empowers us to make the necessary changes in attitude and beliefs that hold us in 'victim' mode.  We can now become 'conscious creators' and create joy instead of pain.

Before proceeding with a request for spiritual counselling, please read my terms and conditions below.

• I charge for this service. The fee of £25 covers 4 weeks correspondence at 2 emails per week.
• If you feel you want to continue, this fee is applicable on 4 weekly payments.
• It is non-refundable and offered in good faith and trust. See Medical Disclaimer
• It is a two-way dialogue, with suggestions and helpful advice, but I require anyone requesting this to read my healing pages and understand that I never tell anyone what to do. In all things I try to enable that person to find their own strength and answers but with support and confidential understanding.
• Changes can take time to manifest as new ways of 'seeing' and 'being' are put to the test so this service may be required intermittently or consecutively, the choice and decision is yours.
• **Note: Any intervention requested in the way of distant healing will be charged as quoted on the distant healing page.

My Personal Approach to Spiritual Counselling

It is my heartfelt belief and conviction that our worst trials and heartbreaks are given to us with a gift securely tucked away. My desire is to help others to discover that gift.

In this I am bold and at times maybe even challenging - but always with love, compassion and understanding.

I do not subscribe to the blinkered vision that says because I believe we create our realities we are ultimately responsible for everything! 

I believe there are many areas in life where we need to admit our ignorance and accept it as part of the Divine Plan. To try to foster yourself or your personal beliefs as being 'infallible' is an affront to true spirituality which raises itself up in humility and profound yearning.

My life experience is worth ten degrees to me and there is no doubt at all that I have the tools, the motivation and the passion to uplift, energize and direct others in a more appropriate way of being.

I am no ‘New Age Wannabe’. I was 'new age' when the term was never spoken  - yes, I am that old!  :-)

I may challenge you to look again at your interactions and your beliefs about how life is constructed, but I will never challenge you about how your personal spiritual life should be lived. Such things are sacrosanct to the traveller. I hold them so too.

I reserve the right in my life to change my own mind... I always have. In that I am neither shallow nor deluded. I am a seeker after truth, operating from the highest perspectives, assisted and guided in this by those in the invisible.

Always being open to new levels of enlightenment allows us to never stagnate or become haughty (a really un-alluring, disempowering and terrible affliction if you aim to serve.)

I consider myself un-shock able with a deep love of nature and understanding of the many ways we allow others or circumstances to rob our beings of true joy.
